Studio coming up only in Read only

I need some help. Somehow my permissions have changed and i now only have read access to UiPath studio. i made no updates on my own. I am the admin for this so i can make changes if needed. Can someone walk me how to configure again? These are the permissions assigned to me in Orchestrator:

I’m thinking something may be wrong in the Admin page? Over the weekend, for some reason it showed this error in my UiPath assistant hooked to my machine: connected to orchestrator. unable to retrieve a license. i could not see any of my automations on assistant. I went in and checked this on my allocations.

Now this morning, i opened studio and can only open in Read Only. Please help as i am dead in water and cannot build.

Hi @chris.dease

It might be that the tenant folder where your process is deployed is inaccessible to you. You can request Folder Administrator role permissions to gain access.
Seems like below,

If helpful, mark as solution tick. Happy automation with UiPath

i am the folder Admin. i’ve had full permissions to orchestrator and admin site. for some reason now, i don’t have developer license. i made no changes.

i cannot see my developer licenses. admin shows i have zero to allocate which means my 1 license is in use. it should be assigned to me. Right now my license shows attended user. i did this to get my automations back on my assistant. i’m assuming this is wrong. i should have the developer license which gives me the assistant as a part of that package:

i’m needing help navigating the admin page as i am pretty sure there’s an issue there and i can’t determine what it is.

@chris.dease

licenses are managed at the organization level, not tenant level.

Check this,

@prashant1603765,
i’ve followed what you said, i removed my attended license and still see my automations on assistant, but i see no license for Automation Developer. This is what is shows.

But under allocate license, i don’t see Automation developer as a license option. i’ve had this for 2 years. we have it with our enterprise license.

ok @chris.dease

Could you pls check the local group group like below ?

Hi @chris.dease

Are you able to create a support ticket request via Contact Us | UiPath? It might be the quickest way to resolve it :slight_smile:

@prashant1603765,
it’s showing i’m a member.

this appears to be resolved, but i’m unsure how so don’t want to post a wrong solution. i was able to uncheck myself from an attended user. i’m not sure if that’s what it was and it took some time for studio to respond. before i was getting the error when i opened studio that i had an attended license and unable to edit. then i opened again and was prompted to shut down all instances of studio and that seemed to resolve it.

@chris.dease

Indeed, strange. Might have been a temporary isue.

Great to hear it’s fixed now.

Happy Automation :+1:

Hi @chris.dease

can you please show how does studio show up for you?

Do you see any robot error on status bar?
