As stated in the subject, this version of studio keeps moving the panes back to their default settings, which is really annoying. In previous versions, you could always open up studio the next day and the panes would be were you left them.
Having the output pane in the lowest part of studio, where it is as wide as the screen, is a really bad design decision and waste of space.
Please provide solutions (if you have any) so that it does not reset to default settings each time you open the project.
@johan.standeus1 are you using window by docking them or in air form, usually it is persistent if you open and minimize multiple times
Of course I dock them…
I have worked with UiPath for 4.5 years and this behaviour is new
@johan.standeus1 it probably be a bug we are also using same version enterprise and didn’t face such behaviour
Can you check in event viewer if it has any erorr or warning recorded
Hi @johan.standeus1
I wasn’t immediately able to find an already known bug concerning such behaviour in our tracker.
Did it start to occur immediately after a Studio update?
I tested it a bit and it looks like the changes should always save to this file when Studio is closed:
%appdata%\UiPath\UiStudio.v2.settings
Maybe as simple of a fix as closing Studio, renaming this file (to keep it as a backup), and then launching Studio and having the file regenerate would help here?
