Studio 18.4.0 and Robot 18.2.3 and Orchestrator 2018.2.6

I am running the following configuration, but Studio is not able to actually run a process.
I am getting the following error:

18.4.0+Branch.master.Sha.b805b316b1c47ae06c0fe7e619b9c9f96e9e774c
Could not connect to UiPath Robot Service. Make sure the service is started!
System.Exception: Could not connect to UiPath Robot Service. Make sure the service is started!

Any ideas ? Can UiPath actually run with the above configuration or do I need to upgrade something…?
I did at one point have the Robot loading at version 18.4, but all the Orchestrator Settings were disabled, but not sure why, so was not able to configure it to connect to Orchestrator.

I would double check what the exception is indicating and check that your UiPath Robot Service is actually running. I suspect it is in a stopped state. If it is, the UiPath Robot tray icon will show with a red background and white “Ui” lettering and the Status message will be “Error connecting to Robot Service” with the Orchestrator Configuration section of the Robot settings will be in a disabled state.

  1. Open Services from your Windows Start Menu
  2. Find UiPath Robot in the Services list
  3. Ensure the Service is started, if not ClickStart the service

Alternatively, you can run it from the command line. Run Command prompt as administrator (or select Yes to the UAC when prompted.
