How to Stop Logs from UiPath Studio from Being Sent to Orchestrator

Overview

UiPath Studio logs can be transmitted to Orchestrator to provide detailed insights into robot operations. However, in some cases, you might want to disable this functionality for performance reasons or to comply with logging policies.

This guide outlines the steps to stop logs from UiPath Studio from being sent to Orchestrator.

Steps to Stop Logs from Being Sent to Orchestrator from Studio:

1. Access Orchestrator

  1. Log in to UiPath Orchestrator as an administrator.

2. Locate the User

  1. Navigate to Tenant > Manage Access.
  2. Search for the user whose logs you want to stop.

3. Edit the User’s Robot Settings

  1. Click on the Edit (pencil icon) next to the user’s name.
  2. Scroll down to the Robot Settings section.
  3. Locate the Allow Development Logging option.
  4. Change the setting to No.

4. Save the Changes

  1. Once you’ve updated the setting, click Save.
  2. Ensure the changes are applied to the user.

Additional Notes

  • Disabling logs will also prevent troubleshooting information from being captured, so ensure this change aligns with your organization’s logging policies.
  • If logs are required for audit purposes but should not overwhelm Orchestrator, consider adjusting the logging level instead of disabling it completely.

Verification Steps

  1. Run a process in UiPath Studio connected to Orchestrator.
  2. Check the Orchestrator Logs page to verify that logs from the robot are no longer visible.
