I messed up the setting of unattended robot. The instruction guided me to install “UiPath platform” and after I cannot open UiPath studio and assistant. Also, I tried to remove “UiPath platform” and reinstall UiPath Studio. The error shows like the image which means “Exists UiPath Connected Platform” when installing, not able to install UiPath Studio.
Can anyone help me with this? I am really frustrated with this situation. Orz…

Also, after installing platform, did you perform any steps like logic etc?

No, I didn’t do any change after installing UiPath Platform. I only clicked on the UiPath Studio and tried to open it but failed.
And I found that I cannot open Studio anymore, thus decided to uninstall it.
Then, I tried to uninstall “UiPath platform” and reinstall “UiPath studio” but also failed.
Is there anyway I can reinstall UiPath studio?
How are you trying to uninstall the platform and what options have you tried?
Try using “Run as administrator” to start uninstall job/utility
Try rebooting machine
Check if UiPath Platform is running in background (check Task Manager → Processes), if yes then close it and then uninstall
Check System Tray if it’s running, if yes, right click and exit, then try to uninstall

Thanks, your instruction helps a lot. I killed the process in task manager. Successfully remove the UiPath platform and able to install UiPath studio again.
Btw, I wanna know can I install “developer version” on my laptop and running unattended robot on the same laptop. I only has one laptop to practice.

If you want to run an unattended robot in your machine, you need to have UiPath enterprise trial or enterprise version. In that, you’ll get unattended licenses which you can assign to your machine created in orchestrator and connect machine to your laptop assistant.

And no need to install, just sign in to cloud.uipath.com and you’ll have everything.
