Configure SMTP Server in Insights

SMTP cannot be configured if it is run from the installer, the following error "You receive this error when the specified SMTP host cannot be found" is thrown.


Resolution:

  • In order for the above error to be resolved, run the LookerPresinstallation tool.
  • In addition, at the step where is asking to configure SMTP, provide the details requested(Smtp host - Server, From, Username, Password, Port and thick TLS/SSL v 1_2).
