Simulate Click Issue After Upgrading UiPath Studio to 2022.4

Hello UiPath Community,

We hope this post finds you well. We want to address an issue that has come to our attention after upgrading our UiPath Studio from version 2020.10 to the latest version, 2022.4. Prior to the upgrade, our projects were running smoothly without any problems. However, following the upgrade, we’ve encountered a challenge specifically related to the “Simulate Click” functionality.

Issue Description: In our projects, we extensively utilize the “Simulate Click” option, which was working flawlessly in UiPath Studio 2020.10. After upgrading to version 2022.4, we noticed that the “Simulate Click” feature behaves unexpectedly or fails to work as intended in certain scenarios.

Observed Problems:

  • Click is working with other methods like windows messaage and default. But with Simulate click it fails. Earlier it was working fine.

Check if your selector is developed using default method, if so, try to develop selector using Active Accessibility option (it’s not the problem which occurs all the time but, it does sometime, some selector and some apps), I also faced same issue, I followed same method and its working.
