SHOULD I USE AI CENTER ?

Hello and hope you can help.

I am considering using AI Center for a project ?
But I wonder whether it is the right tool ?

PROCESS THAT IS BEING AUTOMATED
This is a Life Insurance Company.
:black_small_square: brokers send in email requests for quotes as unstructured text
:black_small_square: the requests are entered into a ‘quote system’
:black_small_square: there are approximately 30 fields in the quote system
We need to automate the manual data entry of the quotes into the quote system.

REASONS FOR USING AI CENTER
10,000 unstructured emails (historic emails).
10,000 records exported from the quote system (structured data).
So we have 10,000 records for training data.

BUT
I have seen AI Center used for classification.
I have seen AI Center used for data extraction from PDF invoices.
But I have not seen it used for key data extraction from unstructured text.

THE QUESTION
Given the amount of training data.
And the need to extract 30 pieces of key data.
Is AI Center the right tool ?

I’d welcome all input.

Wow this is tough, i think this process might not be a right fit for automation but i think the UiPath retrainable Named Entity Recognition model might be able to solve this complex problem for you.

You create the 30 fields as entities and you train your model to extract the data from the emails using the historic data you have.
