As a beginner on UiPath Academy, the UiPath Maestro course gave me a clear and practical understanding of how BOAT brings AI agents, robots, and humans together into one coordinated system.
BOAT helped me see automation not as isolated bots, but as a connected operating model where tasks, decisions, and exceptions flow seamlessly across teams and technologies. Even at an entry level, the concept was easy to follow and gave me confidence in how UiPath approaches real-world enterprise automation.
What’s in it for me?
Understanding BOAT directly supports my work in operations, process coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. It strengthens my ability to think end-to-end about business processes, identify automation opportunities, and better align people, systems, and decision points.
Gartner’s Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) category
defines a new, unified software market that integrates process orchestration, AI agents, low-code development, and enterprise connectivity (RPA/iPaaS). BOAT platforms enable end-to-end automation, replacing fragmented tools to manage complex, AI-driven, and human-involved workflows
One of the things I really value about UiPath is how it brings together automation, AI, testing, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop into a single, cohesive platform. It makes it much easier to design end-to-end processes that are resilient, observable, and scalable in real-world enterprise environments.
Great to see the community encouraged to share hands-on perspectives.
