Reason for it ?

Coz when you use default port, the work is less.

For dynamic custom ports you may need to open those from the firewall blocking and may be other configurations also required.

It’s recommended to use the default ports, and again if you need to host in custom ports, then you need to work with other network teams to allow the ports and configurations as well

If the port is open and ready for use without any security concerns or issue.

You can proceed, not an issue. But please be aware of those thing.
