Resolution:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click the 3 dots in the top right.


  1. Select the 'Settings' tab.


  1. Select the 'Default Browser' tab in settings.

  1. Click the drop-down arrow and select 'Incompatible site only (Recommended)', then click the 'Add' option. Also, ensure that the 'Missile' option is set to 'Allow'.


  1. After hitting the tab button, you are going to 'add'.


  1. Next, go to the Control Panel and select 'Large Icons' from the top right corner.
Note: The Control Panel can be located by searching for 'Control Panel' in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.


  1. Next go to 'Internet Options'.


  1. In internet options go the 'security' tab and then the green check mark labeled' 'trusted sites'.



  1. Select the 'sites' option and then from there add to the list of trusted sites.


  1. After following these steps, the scanning option in Edge should be available for use.
