Set up an account lock

I have read that to configure the blocking of an account:

“By default, the user is locked out for 5 minutes after 10 failed login attempts. You can change this in the Settings window under the Security tab.”

But I can’t find that option in my orchestrator.

The project is integrated with the active directory. Is this the reason why I cannot modify this configuration? Or is this configuration no longer possible?

Thanks for the help.

@festeban

can you please elaborate what you need

cheers

Hello @festeban

I hope you are referring to Orchestrator admin user login failure. if so, please follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the below KB to unlock the user.

cheers

Hello @festeban

  1. Log in to Orchestrator.
  2. Navigate to “Settings” and look for the “Security” tab.
  3. Configure account lockout settings (failed login attempts and duration).
  4. Ensure proper configuration if Orchestrator is integrated with Active Directory.
  5. Check the Orchestrator documentation for version-specific details.

Thanks & Cheers!!!

Thanks for the help

What I need is to set: Consecutive login attempts before blocking, but I don’t know or I can’t find how to do it
Thank you

Hi @festeban

you can perform the settings for Consecutive login attempts before blocking under the “Security settings” section in the identity settings.

Identity → Management → Security Settings → Security → Account lockout

Cheers

I mark it as read although I still don’t see that option.
Thank you
