@Shen,

Could you please restart UIPath service and see.

I restarted the service and still getting the same error. The log says this 0:41:48.9883 => [ERROR] [UiPath.Studio.exe] [1] System.Exception: Could not connect to UiPath Robot Service. Make sure the service is started!

Hi Shen

Check your firewall and antivirus software. I had the same issue myself and after allowing the robot through the firewall and creating an exception in the AV software, I was able to successfully connect.

I hope this helps,

Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

I have the windows firewall opened for this app and restarted both the robot and studio. I still get the same error. I got temporary admin access to resolve this issue for the next 4 hours. One thing I noticed in the UIRobot is a message that says “Offline”. Is this a problem for me to run the project?. Why do I see an offline message?.

Thanks,
Shen

Hi Shen

The robot may be offline because you have not connected it to Orchestrator.

If you run a process directly from Studio, the bot should run without any issues.

If you are running a deployed process from Orchestrator then you will first need to connect your robot to Orchestrator before running it.

Thanks,

Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

Ok. It should work with this community trial edition. I am still getting the same error :(.

Thanks,
