Sending email by gmail - Image in the text body

Hello, I am trying to send emails with images an headers and footers of the body of the mail. The problem is that when the email is sent, the image appears as a small icon.
I was seeing some solutions that they already presented in the forum, but none worked for me. Could someone give me another solution that has worked for you?
