Send SMTP Mail Message Application-specific password

My robot cant access into gmail. I already found a same problem from here and the conversation around it… though that didt help me all the way. I understand there has to be created an App password in gmail, which I created. But where exactly that pw has to be placed? As I understood, it is not supposed to be placed as your gmail password, but instead a google account password. How can I change that? Am I just tired and dont see the obvious…

You need to place it in the same password field. That supports app passwords

Thank you for the quick reply, I appreciate it! I placed it as you suggested, it did not solve the problem anyhow… Is there as certain place in google account settings etc what needs to filled/clicked/…etc after this app password is created?

ok .To Start with can you send the screenshot or a sample xaml of what you are trying to pass

and also if you are not on latest version upgrade the mail packages to latest.

If you are on latest then try downgrading to 1.15.2 (previous stable version)

And also can you confirm if you are on a firewall or on corporate laptop

and what studio version you are using
