Send Hotkey activity in Web Recording has no arrow for dropdown

Scenario: Do walkthrough for Lesson Four, Practice Two

Steps to reproduce: On Win7 64-bit, go through the walkthrough.

  • Instructions are:

From the Type menu, select Send Hotkey.

Select the browser area again (excluding the top window bar).

Type enter without quotation marks as the key.

Current Behavior: Typing enter without quotes causes the sequence to enter the text after “weather in new york” in the search field, instead of actually sending the “Enter” key.

Expected Behavior: Dialog should have an arrow for a dropdown, so hotkey can be selected, or typing the hotkey name into the dialog should work.

Workaround:

  • As in “Steps to reproduce”, instead of typing enter in the dialog, move the mouse outside the dialog and hit enter. Proceed with workflow.
  • Save workflow.
  • Edit workflow. In the activity 'Send hotkey ‘iexplore.exe Google’, click the arrow for the dropdown, and select ‘enter’.
  • The walkthrough now works as expected.
