Selectors not getting generated automatically

Hi,

I used Attached Browser and indicated web site name. Then attached Get Text activity under Do container and indicated name field. However, when checked in selector it is not getting generated automatically.

Will you please guide me.

Hi, Suniltamanekar! Maybe is because you are doing it inside an attached browser. Since when you attached something it generates a selector and its children will use the same selector thus the children don’t show theis selector. That happened with me once, but when i tried it again outside the attached block the selector showed.

I am new to UI Path and trying practical exercises in Foundation course. In lesson 6 - Practice 1 I checked the answer workflow and found selector shows proper content.
Let me try outside attached block.

Tried in UI Explorer. Indicated element from the web site as below

Hi, Suniltamanekar! Did you tried outside the attached window?

It also can be a problem with the wbesite’s security police. Try another website. And also check if you are runing IE as administrator cause in windows this is a problem for UiPath (I faced this problem three days ago)
