Selectors are not working for send hotkey activity

Is that how it works normally? Or am I missing anything?

@Krithi1,

If you are using Keyboard shortcuts inside Use Application browser then you don’t need to highlight an element.

Just drag and drop the activity inside and provide the shortcut you want.

Pls try using Use application/browser and then send hot key inside that

Tried it alerady. its not working

“Send Hotkey” is wokring sometimes and doens’t sometimes. If I use the same activity twice, then its closing the current and the parent window too, since it’s not considering the selectors. Thus the problem. Tried lot other routes, like click to close window and all, and they are not at all working.

Try to use send hot keys with hardware events and check

What do you mean by hardware events?

it is one of the properties in click properties panel…under input mode select hardware events

Don’t select selector. Just choose enter, f5 or diffrent hotkey style. It will be work without selektor

When you are using send hotkey activity don’t indicate any UI element just give what the keyboard keys that you want to give as input.

Go to properties of Send hotkeys activity and find for the send window message check box. Check the check box then try.
