Selection of elements is offsetted (Chrome)

Hello everyone,

My problem is quite simple. The selection of the windows AND the elements are offsetted in Google Chrome (only).

You can see below where I put my cursor (on UiPath Replies) and that its element is not displayed accordingly.

As you can imagine, depending on where the selected elements are on the page, I’m sometimes not able to say which element is selected.

Important information

  • It’s only related to Google Chrome
  • I tried to reinstall UiPathStudio and there’s no change
  • It works fine on Edge but I do not work withtout Google Chrome
  • My chrome extension is the following

  • My UiPath Studio version is the latest (2024.2.1 beta 15932 from 23/02/2024)
  • The UiAutomation activities I’m using are from 24.2.0 preview package

My question are : Have you already seen this happened ? Should I switch to the most recent Chrome extension without any particular considerations ?

I’m not sure if it’s related to an imported project (I copied-pasted a project from one computer to this one).

I believe the zoom setting on chrome is not the default one can you try resetting the Zoom

I switched back to 100% my browser Zoom and my screen computer.
It didn’t work until I have restarted Studio. For a moment it worked but now the problem is back.

I reinitialized Google Chrome parameters by default.

It’s also linked to the desktop or “Windows” Zoom and probably where you open the applciation.
I don’t know what you have to do exactly.

But this is what I just did :

  • Select your windows zoom to 100%
  • Open Studio on the screen you want to automate things like Google Chrome.

At the moment, with the previous steps, it’s working.
