I am exploring how Agentic AI and RPA solutions can help enterprises overhaul their identity security architecture and strengthen cybersecurity. A potential lead is actively looking to solve these challenges, so we are keen on understanding best practices and practical approaches.

We are looking for guidance, best practices, or case studies for implementing automation in the following areas:

Identity Security Architecture Areas:

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) – currently managed manually; looking to automate.
  • API Security – ensuring secure integrations.
  • Certificate Lifecycle Management – automated issuance, renewal, and revocation.
  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) – design, rollout, and automation.
  • Security Posture Management (SPM) – implementing vendor solutions and automating monitoring.
  • Cybersecurity Operations – enhancing detection, response, and policy enforcement using automation.

Core Problems to Resolve:

  • Legacy identity frameworks with end-of-support deadlines (2028–2029).
  • High employee turnover requiring automated onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Manual disabling of access for terminated employees poses security risks.
  • Mitigating risk of malicious actions by former employees with lingering system access.
