SAP(desktop) to S4 Hana Migration

Hi Shukla

RPA/UiPath can be utilised in migration projects as you face both one-time tasks but also recurring jobs to be done.

One-time tasks can be preparing data, master data cleansing, clean-up jobs etc. - it makes sense to use RPA even for one-off jobs as there are many transactions (i.e. rows of data/records etc.) to be processed.

The recurring jobs can be especially in testing new features. It doesn’t always have to be automated, though - with Test Manager you could bring both manual and automated testing onto the same platform and keep track of both disciplines. What’s most important about starting to automate in migration, however, is that you’re already preparing your automations to be then used in the new, productive SAP S/4HANA. The processes might differ from how they are now (in the old system), of course, but automation is then already part of the new way of work, the new solution.

Here are two helpful resources from UiPath to share with you and to dive in further:
Blog “Accelerate SAP S/4HANA Migration with Automation”

And a document on “Automate your SAP S/4HANA Migration with UiPath RPA”

Hope this helps! All the best for the upcoming migration!

Cheers
Roman
