Can a .nupkg file be run in Studio instead of using a bot? We would like to see the automation in Studio to edit without having to send the main and .json files back and forth.

Is there a way to load the nupkg into Studio?
Yes you can. Place nupkg file into packages folder and install it like how we will install packages through Manage Packages.
I don’t see a packages folder in Studio. Can you please explain where that is in Studio?
