Description
I hope you’re doing well! My name is Vishal Shah, and I am a faculty member at Central Michigan University’s College of Business. We are excited to announce our partnership with UiPath to develop Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities within our department and college.
We are thrilled to introduce our inaugural RPA competition, “RPA Champions,” and I would love to share the details with you:
RPA Champions using UiPath (November 1, 2024):
We aim to recruit 35 to 40 motivated students eager to learn RPA tools forming 7 to 9 teams.
A 4-hour RPA workshop using UiPath will be held on September 27, 2024.
During the first hour, we invite firms like yours to share insights on RPA and inspire students to participate in the RPA Champions challenge.
Post-workshop, students will work towards obtaining the UiPath Developer Associate Certification within approximately one month: UiPath Developer Associate Certification.
Dr. Santiago Aguirre, a world-renowned expert in process automation, will be designing the targeted workshop with me.
Concurrently, students will be given use cases to solve as teams, presenting their findings on November 1, 2024, to a panel of industry and academic judges.
We are collaborating with partners like The Silicon Partners (TSP), represented by Kristina Kaldon and Arya Badiola from UiPath, and Pankaj Banka from TSP. We anticipate additional participation from firms such as Dow, Infosys, Ashling Partners, and PwC.
We will provide scholarships to the first three winning teams; if feasible for firms participating, they can contribute to the scholarship in the amount they feel comfortable with. In the past we have pooled the donation from participating firms and our college/university alliance to provide scholarships. However, this is not a requirement to participate, we want industry and academia to collaborate in a meaningful way, your donation of time and effort is also greatly appreciated.
