Hi team,

I’m new in the RPA world and would like to be prepared this year to apply for RPA Developer positions. However, I don’t have any idea how to create my portfolio. Can anybody share any ideas about where I can get inspiration to create mine?

As per your query and I assume that you are totally new to UiPath, please follow below details as per my knowledge will help in gaining knowledge about UiPath, RPA and current industry trends which is revolving around AI, Machine Learning and DU.

  1. As a starter, you should mandatorily go through UiPath Foundation Training - Associate Developer which will help you understanding about UiPath, UiPath Platform & its components. In this training you will learn about basics of programming in UiPath, UiPath Frameworks, Orchestration of processes and much more.

  2. In Addition to the above learning, you can enroll in Community Events which will keep you updated about latest UiPath releases and offerings. You can visit the UiPath Community Page to view regional chapters and their scheduled events.

  3. You can also get information from Youtube as community members post their latest tutorials, learning which can be a good resource for getting started along with academy.

  4. No talking about portfolio is where you require to showcase following things:

  • Your RPA Expertise and Other skills which makes you an ace in automation
  • Showcase your live projects or hands-on training that you’ve done/doing currently (For Ex: You can start your YouTube blog and add small use-cases, or if you are working in IT sector where you have applied RPA skills)
  • Certifications/Trainings completed on Academy portals
  • Your contribution in UiPath Forum

FYI, this is just basic information on getting you started and community colleagues may pitch in better ideas which will help you built your portfolio.
