Robot unresponsive

I have issues connecting robot to Orchestrator instance.
SSL certificates are configured according to installation guide - there is a Certificate Authority on the server and I installed the certificate on local machine.
I am able to connect robot to Orchestrator and robot is marked as ‘Available’. Although there’s a warning saying it’s ‘Unresponsive’. I am able to upload a process and heartbeats are being sent.
What could be possible causes of “Unresponsive” state? How can I fix that?

Hi, Did you get a resolution for this.

Hello,
I bet your UiRobotSvc crashed. Search through taskbar for “Services” then navigate to “UiRobotSvc” and click Start or Restart.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have issue in robot connection. It was working fine early this morning. But now says Robot is unresponsive. I have checked the Services, found only 1 “UI Assistant Service” in Running state(restarted as well but issue still persists).

Kindly assist. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

What version do you have?
Is it community or enterprise?

UI Assistant Service does not belong to UiPath platform.

Either search for UiRobotSvc (for enterprise) or open the robot tray to start the UiRobot process (for community edition).

Hi,

I am on 2019.1.0 Enterprise edition.
Strange that the issue got resolved after multiple restarts.

Thank you for the response.

Both you and @ClaytonM mention UiRobotSvc but I only see “UiPath Robot Service”. Is this the same?

Yeah, that’s the one. There’s only one service for UiRobot. You can also get to it from Task Manager > Services tab

i am facing the same issue right now. is there any solution for this ?

This error is caused by robot.exe service not running. We also encountered this error, we noticed that the robot.exe service could not be started after restarting the robot server and we solved the problem by enabling it again.
