Robot on-premise license for different users as service mode

Hi everyone,

Can an Unattended Robot type be used to run attended execution? If we install the robot in service-mode in a Windows Server, can different users run processes with UiPath Assistant without connecting the robot to Orchestrator? I assume that you can’t run from different users at the same time using the same robot, but I would like to know if it’s possible to use one robot license to execute processes manually from different users without Orchestrator.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @jose.arenas

I don’t think so, you need to have separate licenses for each user !

Hi @Nithinkrishna
Thanks for the reply. Then, is it possible to install an attended robot in service-mode that will be executed only from one user?

Hey @jose.arenas

Yes, you can install in a server machine and log into it to trigger the bot

In the above case service mode or user mode doesn’t matter.

Thanks

Hi @Nithinkrishna

And, in that case, has to be always the same user or any user on that server machine could start the robot?

Thanks again for your response.
