Unable to open UiPath Studio 24.10 on a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) after upgrading from 22.10
Issue Description
Unable to open UiPath Studio within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.
Error Message:
Root Cause
When a newer Enterprise Studio version (e.g., 2024.10) is installed, it generally upgrades the older version (e.g., 22.10) automatically. However, if the newer version (2024.10) is forcefully deployed to VDIs at the Operating System level, the upgrade process may fail to detect and replace the existing older version, resulting in errors.
Conflicts occur when multiple versions of Studio are installed in the same path or when remnants of older assemblies or plugins from version 22.10, which are incompatible with version 24.10, are left behind.

Verify Installed Versions:
- Open "Add or Remove Programs" from the Windows Start Menu or "Programs and Features" in Control Panel on the affected VDI machine.
- Check if multiple versions of UiPath Studio are installed (e.g., both 2022.10 and 2024.10).

Uninstall Conflicting Versions:
- Manually uninstall all older or duplicate versions of UiPath Studio (e.g., 2022.10.x) from the VDI.

Clean Installation:
- If the issue persists, uninstall the current version entirely and perform a fresh installation of the desired UiPath Studio version.
