Hey…

@loginerror @Pablito - not sure whom to tag… so mentioning you two :slight_smile:

As I checked the new Connect platform and noticed few bugs…

The rank is not the same all the time. When I refresh the page, I get different ranks and XP… not sure what the other thing is that mentioned as 8 :slight_smile:

The badges from forum and Academy are not properly synced…
I do have some badges in forum but in Connect, it says it is not obtained…
For example, nice topic badge…

From academy, i have completed the AI Computer Vision course, but here it is not mentioned as not done…

Apart from that… I also see two badges for UiPath MVP in the new Connect… I think we need to remove one :slight_smile:

Thanks for reporting the badges issues, let us look into them and come back. As a general rule, all badges get updated now every 24 hours, so any fixes we apply should be visible tomorrow.
PS: 8 is your ranking in the leaderboard :wink:

Ok, so here’s what I could figure out from your post earlier.

I can’t replicate this one, the rank and XP points show the same to me, for your profile, since this morning when I first read it. Can you get a couple more screenshots if it happens again?

This badge is actually granted (see XP points next to it), but the design is gray (poor choice on our side, we’ll have that fixed in a future release). The badges that you don’t have are generally at the bottom of the list.

This badge is awarded for Computer Vision 2.0 training, and you have completed just the old one. Here’s a chance to refresh your memory :slight_smile:

There will be two MVP badges, one for the initial round of MVPs, the second for the new MVP program. We will make sure to differentiate them in the description.

Oh wow… Cool…

About the badges, I actually thought the colored one’s are the one’s that I have and the grayed out one’s are the one’s that I don’t… so it is checked based on the XP… I get it now… I also think having a indicator for the one’s that I have and don’t is a good way to filter the badges as on the top of each category it says xx out of yy … :slight_smile:

Wow… so we have two badges for the previous and new MVP’s… That sounds interesting :slight_smile:

I have lot more suggestions… I will add them soon :slight_smile:

The new ranks are

Rookie 700
Explorer 6500
Journeyman 9500
Specialist 13000
Expert 17000
Innovator 21500
Master 27000

We will also introduce a default rank for those that have under 700 points

From all the users that have points in the connect gamification system, you are in the 8th place. That is your current position (place) on the leaderboard. The system uses the timestamp of the last awarded badge or achievement to separate users with the same number of points.

What are the types that are available in the list? also, what we should do to get into higher things in that?

In the new system, we have callings. These callings try to map your journey in the UiPath ecosystem.

Calling examples
RPA Developer
Solution Architect
Infrastructure Engineer
Implementation Manager
Business Analyst
Marketplace
Community

These paths have badges associated to them. For example, to be a beginner in RPA Development, you must have Orchestrator Training & Foundation Training badges, which form the level 1 Trophy - beginner. The name of this Trophy will be [Calling name]+[Trophy level]. This will form RPA Developer Beginner.

Having level 3 Trophy, which is formed from Advanced Traning badge and ACME Certification, will create the Trophy name RPA Developer Expert.

We decided to list the last Trophy you obtained in the leaderboard. It is not mandatory to have level 1 and 2 trophies to obtain level 3 trophy. Because of this, even if you have a higher level Trophy, we show the last one you obtained :slight_smile: Because of the way data was migrated currently, we show the ones that are a lower level. We will replace this information in the leaderboard as currently is not that relevant and will simplify and update this system we named calling.

I also have one other question… the EXP you have… I guess now it is different than what we had earlier… So may I know, apart from the methods we had earlier to gain points (commenting on components, adding projects and adding components, completing courses, forum achievements), what are the new methods of gaining EXP points?

In the new system, we introduced Trophies. They offer points just like badges and achievements. A trophy is worth 500 points.
