RemoteException: Returned login window is null (trying to open SAP logon and login)

Hi UIPath community,

I am struggeling with the SAP Logon Activity. It opens the correct connection as expected - so far so good. But for some reasons it opens it as often as the “NumberofRetries” is set. For example is the number of retries is set to “5”, five windows of the login will pop up after starting the SAP Logon 750.

Additionally the returning parameter “SAP Login window” keeps beeing null. That leads to an error as follows:

**> RemoteException wrapping System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Returned login window is null. **
> at UiPath.Core.Activities.ObsoleteTaskAsyncCodeActivity`1.EndExecute(AsyncCodeActivityContext context,
> IAsyncResult result)
> at System.Activities.AsyncCodeActivity.System.Activities.IAsyncCodeActivity.FinishExecution(AsyncCodeActivityContext context,
> IAsyncResult result)
> at System.Activities.AsyncCodeActivity.CompleteAsyncCodeActivityData.CompleteAsyncCodeActivityWorkItem.Execute(ActivityExecutor executor,
> BookmarkManager bookmarkManager)

Hope someone has an idea. Unfortunatly I could not find anything equal to this problem in this forum, yet.

Hello together,

finally I figured it out by myself. Just in case somelse is struggeling here:

For SAP-Activities I downloaded the newest UIPath.UIAutomation.Activities Package 20.10.6. And my suggestion is that this version is kind of buggy.

So - after downgrading to package version 20.4.2 everything works as expected!
