Hi,

Which version of Studio and UiAutomation activity package? Older version does not support regex selector. If you use old UiAutomation package, can you try use 19.10.x or above?

Regards,

I am on community edition and have the 20.10.4 version.
There seems to be something wrong with the regex…

Hi,

Can you share your workflow? It’s no problem even if simple test workflow for regex selector.

Regards,

unfortunately cannot share due to company policy.
But I am just using getfull text activity and pointing to a PDF text:
"Drop off location:
3 Street Name, Country, 985499"
The selector I am using to pick the above is :
(?<=Drop off location:).\n[^\n]

Hi,

I just wrote simple workflow for regex selector as the following. Can you check it in your environment if you need?

Thanks for your time. It works well.
So, issue is with the regex pattern :

Hi,

I think selector is just for identify the element. (not for content itself)

So, I suppose perhaps you should get text using normal selector with wildcard, then extract string which you want using string manipulation such as Regex.Match etc

Regards,

It finally worked with the pattern
name=’^[0-9].*’
Thanks Yochi for your time and help.
