REFramework question 2

Please help with the solution
A developer uses REFramework to create a complex automation project.
In the Settings sheet of the Config file, the developer writes “fileName” in the Name column and “Fin_Excel_FileName” in the Value column.
In Orchestrator, the developer creates an asset named “Fin_Excel_FileName” with the value “Report_Udemy2021.xlsx”.
What will be the value of Config(“fileName”).ToString?

A. fileName
B. Fin_Excel_FileName
C. null
D. Report_Udemy2021.xlsx

@Latifa

D. Report_Udemy2021.xlsx.

In orchestrator he created an asset and give an excel file name and store in “Fin_Excel_FileName”
In config file he created a “fileName” and give “Fin_Excel_FileName” as value
The value of Config(“fileName”).ToString will be Report_Udemy2021.xlsx

@Latifa

The answer is B

Because the assets if needs to be retrieved then needs to be added in assets sheet and not settings sheet

Hi @Latifa

Option B

Since the developer created an asset named “Fin_Excel_FileName” in Orchestrator with the value “Report_Udemy2021.xlsx,” when the developer accesses the Config file using Config(“fileName”).ToString, it will retrieve the value associated with the asset “Fin_Excel_FileName,” which is “Report_Udemy2021.xlsx.”

Hello @Latifa,

B. Fin_Excel_FileName.

Because when you identify something in settings sheet name identifies the value. When calling from UiPath Studio Config(“Name”).tostring = Value.

Hi @Latifa

The config file is used as a dictionary the name column is the dictionary name and the value column has value which stored in the name of dictionary.

When we call the Name with Config(“Name”) it will give the value which is stored in config file in settings sheet

In this case, the value for “filename” is Fin_Excel_FileName. When we call we will get the Fin_Excel_FileName value.

Then the option is B.

Hope it helps!!
