Recording UI Interactions Training - Adding a new Workbook Resource

I am going through the trainings and I am stuck in the Recording UI Interations training. It is asking me to add a new workbook resource in the data manager. When I follow the steps and add a new workbook and go to the location of the file it selects it correctly. However when I go to the “For Each Excel Row” activity, and go to the “In Range” and I hit the “Plus” the new linked workbook does not show up. Only the “Notebook” which is automatically created with every new project.

For context I am using Studio version 2025.0.157.

It will show the workbook sheet names and range of the workbook which you have using in the Use excel file activity.

What workbook path you have given in Use excel file that workbook information will show in the excel activities which is used inside the Use excel file activity.

That is the problem, I used the Data Manager “Connect to a New Workbook” and using the browse file I selected the file and hit open, then OK. It shows up in my Data Manager under Resources, but not when I hit the “+” sign and try to access it. Only the Notebook one shows up which is the one there by default. So it does not give me the same options to the new workbooks. (I tried adding more photos, but it only allows 1 image)

That works only with Workbook activities.
A hierarchical menu with the "Read Range Workbook" option highlighted in red under "System > File > Workbook". (Captioned by AI)
