Recorder not working on Community Edition

When I click Start App I get this error.

I tried reinstalling my community edition but it didn’t help.

Try the steps below.

  • Uninstall UiPath.
  • When you reinstall, provide administrative rights.
  • After installation, open the application with administrative rights.

@KannanSuresh Edit: sorry, I right-clicked to get the admin rights.
Edit: But it still gives the same error so now I am going to switch to Enterprise Edition trial and try again.
Edit: Also, I used file explorer to find the dependency and deleted it but it still appears…feeling quite lost now.
I also saw this regarding a NU1108: Cycle detected. I can see UiPath under UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities so maybe try to delete the dependency?

You could try clearing the two folders from the old packages. This would resolve any conflicts:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\UiPath\.cache
%userprofile%\.nuget\packages
