Read specific keyword name files from folder

Directory.GetFiles(“FolderPath”, “ABCD*”)
In above syntax can i use string variable as a keyword in place of ABCD. If yes then how?
And also i want to read only pdf format files.
I used * infront of keyword because there are multiple versions of that file
