Try renaming the file to .csv before using ReadCsv activity.
Should work, we’ve had similar issues with SAP generated Excels and Excel package 2.0+ (don’t remember which one)

I have also got this error while I am using the same read range activity.
Is this an issue of the read range activity of workbook or a limitation.

I found this error happens due to Excel format.
Some systems make Excel files with regular excel format, which means the file ends with “.xls” or “.xlsx” but if you open the files you may encounter certain errors about format and you need to re-save them.
it is because the systems make the excel file with text file, using or other seperators. So, in this case, you need to open excel file and save it first to use Read Range Activity.
