QWS3270 Automation in UiPath

Hi

We are trying to integrate QWS3270(Mainframe) with Uipath automation.

Tried below two option.

1. IBM ELLHAPI - provided the .dll location of whllapi. But getting error while connecting through Terminal wizard.

2. Uipath Internal: Provided the IP address of the Mainframe application and port number. Terminal wizard showing "Connected: and getting the Client application opened. But nothing is displaying on virtual terminal nor in the Client application.

Please share the steps that explained how to establish connection with Mainframe application.

How to establish a Connection for mainframe (QWS3270 Secure)

Open QWS3270 Secure. Go to options and choose Session. Set HLLAPI session ID there and restart QWS3270. Use above created ID in UiPath terminal configuration. In HLLAPI function, use WinHLLAPI (case sensitive). Remove check from EHLL enhanced . Note: You have to start connection from QWS3270 manually. UiPath will attach to it.

Why we need to open QWS3270 manually ?

You can automate that using ‘Start Process’ command.
I have just mentioned a way to connect.
