Hello,
I’ve read the Automation Express license terms multiple times, but there are still some parts I don’t fully understand. Based on the following excerpt from the license agreement, I have a few questions:
(d) Automation Express Licenses: you may use the Automations Express licenses only for your own individual or personal use, including in a production environment, for production purposes, bearing the entire risk associated with such use of the Technology; you are not allowed to (i) use the Automation Express licenses in collaboration with other users from your company, (ii) share or otherwise provide access to the output of the Automation Express license with other users from your company and/or (iii) use the Automation Express license to access the output of automations developed by other users from your company.
Technically, I understand that I can only access my own workspace, which implies that Automation Express is for personal use only. Additionally, I assume that I cannot install and use projects developed by other users from Orchestrator.
Here are my three questions:
- Is it permissible to copy a project stored on a NAS server?
- Can I send a project I developed to another person in a ZIP file?
- If I switch the license from Automation Express to Citizen Developer (while keeping the same user), is it still prohibited to share XAML files developed under the Automation Express license with anyone?
I’m particularly unsure about the definition of “output of automations” and what it refers to exactly.
I would appreciate any clarification you can provide. Thank you.
