PSA: Some screen recorders can change application selectors

Hi There,

It has recently come to my attention that there are some screen recording/capturing software that are able to change, vandalize, corrupt, obscure, and delete entirely the selectors for a given application from UiPath. This is able to happen even when the application is not actively recording anything.

See the below example of how this happened to me with a screen recording application called ‘snagit’ changing the selectors for SAP (saplogon.exe):

Is your old code started working after removing sniget.

Yes, we were able to get permission to uninstall the application and ever since then we have never encountered this issue again.
