Problem with Type Into activity while interact on website's textbox field

Hi Everyone.

I have problem when using Type Into activity to type text into the field on the web site.

I have tried many ways and also used the Set Text activity or send hot key ( Ctrl V ) but it still error each when the desktop session is closed.

I want to use Simulate Type because sometime the remote desktop is closed.

Anyone has any suggest for this case?

Thanks you very much!

Hi @Mr.H

is it failing regularly or once in a time

if so surround by a try catch and kindly retry same activity in catch block

Thanks

Hello @Mr.H

Are you running the robot in the local and doing a ui automation on the Remote session? Or the robot is running in the remote machine?

Thanks

Hi Bro.

I still used type into activity with simulate click on some another textbox fields on that webpage… but it has one textbox field which could not used simulate type and it show error.

I run robot in the remote machine.

I have created a new process which has only one Type Into activity, then it typed success and no error.

But in my main process, it has error.

Hi @Mr.H
kindly cut tht code and try using it in ur main process

also have some delay before executing this activity

Use tab hotkey to comes the arrow in the required field, then use typeinto activity but this time no need to indicate the screen.(Note: cursor should be in the text cell)
