Problem when selecting a cell in excel during screen recording

Hi

Recently I am make a screen recording video to introduce to people how to use the activities on UiPath. When I was doing the screen recording, when I added the “Click” activity and try to indicate element on an excel, instead of getting a blue highlight on that cell and get that UI element information, I only got a blue highlight region of the whole sheet and cannot get UI element of that cell.

I suspect my screen recording tool had some how block the recognition of the excel cell UI element. Is there anyone who has same problem before and got any solution or work around ?

Unfortunately many screen recorders make such issue as they are interrupting the entire screen and break selectors from proper work. You may try an external video grabber device. Eventually OBS application.
