Problem reading PDF

Hello there,

At the moment I’m trying to extract specific data from a PDF file. The first steps I’ve taken are doing the read pdf text activity paired with the write text file activity. However I noticed something strange when I do this. The 0’s come out as Q’s which makes the tast I’m trying to accomplish not work. Any suggestions on how to counter this?

@Evan123 - Try reading pdf with OCR activity , to see if that brings any luck.

Thanks for your advice these days Prasath! :rofl: using read pdf with OCR worked a lot better. But some are still Q’s when they are 0’s on the pdf. Anything else I can try?

Im a beginner in uipath,
i hope You can use get text activity with full text or native text options because it might give different results compared to read pdf text activity
