Output Panel: Always show Timestamp / Customize View

Hi all

Is it possible to somehow customize the Output Panel view? I’d love to have the Timestamp shown at all times. The below highlighted button (Timestamp) is deactivated by default (why is this the case in the first place?).

Cheers

To avoid the pending ‘on is better than off’ or the other way around-discussion; make it a setting or preference that is simply stored in the studio. Set it once to your liking as with a lot of GUI settings and voila, everybody happy.

Thanks, we have plans to revamp the Output penel in the next release.

Can you please share what else would you like to see in the Panel? Would help us when we design the new one.

Hey Alexandru

Thanks for picking this one up!

The only other features I can think of right now are:

  • A checkbox to “retain” the current content of the output panel. This means: When you run/debug a new workflow, it does not flush the content that’s already in the output panel. This could come in handy if you want to compare Execution 1 to Execution 2 for various reasons.
  • The possibility to select all Output Panel rows (CTRL+A), select a range of Output Panel rows or selecting multiple specific rows (with CTRL key) as you’d select multiple items i.e. in a local folder/directory.

Cheers
Roman
