Orchestrator not connecting

Hi Everyone

I had a computer hardware fault. Repaired the PC and installed Community version of UiPath Studio. First I installed it in a virtual machine and everything worked fine. Connected to orchestrator.

Then I installed it on the host and it does not connect.

Everytime i click “Sign In” comes up with the error “The requested address is not valid in its context.”

I do not understand what is going on and cannot find much information on the error when searching on Google.

Please assist.

You can use UiPath Assistant login method.

Open UiPath Assistant - Preferences - Login using Machine key.

No doesnt work. Same error.

Why is this error coming?

Is there connection issue like Firewall rule or something?

No direct connection.

When i installed in virtual machine it worked fine. Installing on host giving error

Check if any changes in host file of host machine.

No changes in the host file.

Ohh ok. I’m out of options now. May be try reinstalling the studio once.

Talk to your network/security team, something is blocking it. It’s common for servers not to have internet access.

The host file is pretty irrelevant these days. There is far more to internet connections than a host file.

You can consider logging to the https://cloud.uipath.com , the website first .
You can do this also by opening the UiPath Assistant ,click on Sign In button , it will direct you to website.

After you login , open studio and check if you are able to access .
Please give it a try .
