Orchestrator Modern Authentication for Alerts?


We recently had legacy authentication disabled for our Exchange environment, when this happened our Orchestrator alerts stopped working. When I try testing the email alert setup I receive this error now:


Does anyone know if there is a way to setup alerts to use Modern authentication? We have switched all of our Exchange activities to use modern authentication, but don’t see that as an option for the Orchestrator alerts.

I reached out to support and they recommended setting up an SMTP relay server, but since we are using the cloud version of Orchestrator we would have to open the server externally leaving us open to attack.

Anyone have any ideas?
