Option to turn off tooltips, or adjust the time-to-display

I don’t like popups. I really don’t like them. I find that in practice, tooltips only popup when I don’t need them, and almost never popup when I want them. When I do manage to get them to pop up when I want, they usually don’t tell me anything I don’t already know, so I don’t find much value in them.

I’d like an option to turn them off; or at least adjust the delay before they pop up.

I would like to understand what issues are you having. Tooltips are activated while you hover mouse over a button or an area. They disappear when you exit the area.

Are you talking about a different kind of popups?
