Open Browser -Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension

Hi All,

I am checking for certain tab already exist in chrome using element exist activity. If exist its working fine, else I am killing chrome & launching the browser.

While launching the browser I am getting this issue(Cannot communicate with the browser, please check the UiPath extension.)

Uipath version - 2020.10.2 Enterprise

Suggest, me solution for this

It looks that you are enabling the extension every time manually.

Go Manage extension and enable Developer Mode.

Developer mode is already enabled. Rest all other browser activities are working fine. Only for this scenario its causing issue.

Your Uipath version and extension versions are different. That could be the issue.

Update your extension version.


What version of the chrome you are using. could you please uninstall and install to latest version and add your extension to resolve the issue. earlier i have faced the same issue bit it got resolved with latest chrome version. try and let us know. thanks.
