Why am I getting the error țOops! You're not on the list. A valid Autopilot license couldn't be foundț when launching Autopilot from Assistant (Web/Desktop)?
Issue Description
Users are unable to launch Autopilot from Assistant Web or Desktop Assistant and encounter the following error:
Oops! You're not on the listSorry, a valid Autopilot license couldn't be found. Please reach out to your UiPath admin for more information.Support telemetry session ID: xxxxxxxx.
Observations:
- Autopilot previously worked but stopped suddenly
- Autopilot policies (e.g., “Autopilot for Everyone”) are enabled
- AI Trust Layer policies are correctly configured
- No obvious misconfiguration in Admin or Governance
Technical Indicator:
HAR logs show requests routed to:
/Policy/license/NoLicense
This indicates the platform is treating the user/tenant as having no valid license
Root Cause
The issue occurs when users have exhausted the free allocation of 50 Autopilot actions per user per year under the default “Autopilot for Everyone” configuration. (Refer)
Once this limit is reached:
- The system no longer allows Autopilot usage under the free tier
- The tenant/user is evaluated as NoLicense for Autopilot
- Assistant displays the error message indicating no valid license
Resolution
To restore Autopilot access:
- Navigate to:
Admin → AI Trust Layer → Autopilot for Everyone - Enable the setting:
Configure Autopilot consumption of AI Units - Ensure the tenant has sufficient AI Units available
- Save and re-test Autopilot access from Assistant
