Online Class Checking Automation with Zoom

Use Case Description

During Covid classes are conducted online, learning uses the zoom application, where every lecturer when they want to start teaching will get a zoom link, open the class and change the default name on zoom to the teacher’s name in 1 day we have 7 lecture shifts where each shift we have around 140 online classes and requires around 10 admins to check manually whether the lecturer has joined the zoom class and has renamed it to their name. automation is done by RPA logging into the system every shift and downloading all zoom links in 1 shift into an excel file and starting to loop, opening the zoom link from the first row, if the zoom link cannot be opened it will update to the existing presence column in excel with the status “not yet joined”, if so then the status is “already joined”, if the lecturer has joined then it will be checked whether the name has been renamed to the name of the lecturer teaching in the class, if not then typing a private chat to the lecturer to immediately rename the name. after all the links are checked, the admin immediately gets a summary of the lecturers who have not joined the class with the zoom link that has been provided, then the admin contacts the lecturers who have not joined the zoom class. then 20 minutes later RPA will do a loop for lecturers who still haven’t joined
