Today we will be seeing a interesting topic on how to enable Multiple domain AD Authentication on UiPath Orchestrator on-premises.(Version:2023.10)
Problem Statement
After installing UiPath Orchestrator on-premises within a single domain, users from other trusted domains are unable to log in. The expected domain dropdown appears, but user lookup fails or authentication doesn’t work.
Solution Steps 1.Log in as Host Admin
Access Orchestrator using the host-level credentials. 2.Navigate to Security Settings
Go to Admin > Security Settings. 3. Enable AD SSO Login
â—‹ Turn on Active Directory Single Sign-On (AD SSO).
â—‹ This allows Orchestrator to support authentication across multiple domains. 4. Disable LDAP Authentication
â—‹ Scroll down to the Authentication Methods section.
â—‹ If LDAP is enabled (checked), uncheck it.
â—‹ LDAP can restrict user discovery to a single domain, causing multi-domain Login Issues 5. Verify Domain Dropdown Functionality
• Go to Users > Manage Access.
• Use the Domain dropdown to select the desired domain.
You should now be able to search for and authenticate users from multiple domains
