Object reference not set error when trying to scrape dropdown menu with no value selected

Hello Everyone ;

I’m trying to scape a desktop application with lots of fields, one issue I’m encountering is that if the drop-down menu with no value being selected, then uiPath is throwing an exception:

Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. This error usually occurs when using a variable with no set value (not initialized).

I have tried continue on error & ignorehidden option but that didn’t help

Any thoughts ?

Can you use try/catch only for the drop down. That should work.

Could you provide some sample of your project? I was wondering at which point do you use the Add Data Row activity.
